TINA, THE MONARCH LITTLE GIRL

The new school playground is by the sea. Before, Tina’s school was in the city, in Milano. The playground was sandwiched between buildings. It’s Tina’s first day at new school. In the middle of the pandemic, Tina’s parents lose their jobs and decide to change countries and life philosophy. This comic follows her adaptation to a completely new environment and how she discovers nature.

Claudia Bellante is a journalist for various international media and is part of the International Women Media Foundation. She is also an independent documentary filmmaker with a degree in Communication Sciences in Milan.

Tamara Tantalo (Rome, 1995) graduated in 2014 from the Scuola del Libro artistic high school in Urbino and attended the two-year specialization course. In 2018 she received First Prize in the Notte di fiaba competition and published
the illustrated book “Il nuovo palazzo della sirenetta” (Orecchio Acerbo).
