MY FAVORITE DRAWER

Cartoonist Decur is obsessed with desktops. Even has one circular desktop at home. So this book is shaped like a drawer and must be opened to access to the inner (it’s offered in a case). And inside we find a whole own world. He admits that the iconography is quite inspired by traditional fairy tales, with simple, tender characters of imperfect beauty. His cartoons are sometimes graphic aphorisms, jokes, thoughts, epiphanies…

Decur uses a laborious technique, layer by layer with acrylic.
